What is a limited edition?
A 'limited edition' is a unique issue of collectible artwork limited to a specific quantity, including a few Artist Proofs. Once sold out, no further editions will be made of that particular artwork. Limited editions can be fine art prints, 3D objects, books, or even furniture, and should be authenticated by the artist.
How are these Editions authenticated?
All our editions come with Certificates of Authenticity issued by Cactus Moon Studio, signed by the artist.
How often are editions RELEASED?
We will be launching a new edition each month, though this will not always fall on the same day! Please sign up to our mailing list or refer to the Edition pages for advance notice and further information.
How can I buy one?
Editions are available to purchase directly through our website only. Please go to our Editions page, click on the desired work, add to cart and proceed to checkout. Please ensure you check that your contact and delivery details are correct before submitting an order.
Can I buy more than one edition?
You are most welcome to add as many different editions (no more than 1 per release) as you want to your cart, up to a total value of €10,000. Single or collective transactions over this amount will be subject to AML checks, in accordance with EU legislation.
Is VAT included in the price?
No, VAT is not included in the prices shown. For works remaining in the UK, VAT is automatically added for works at checkout at the standard rate of 20%. International orders will not be charged VAT for export; VAT will be charged directly by the destination country’s customs office, according to local rates, upon import.
Is framing included?
No, but in some cases the artist will have suggested framing specifications which we can share with you. We can also direct UK-based collectors to a trusted specialist framer.
Will the price change as the edition sells out?
No, the price of an edition will remain the same throughout its run, to ensure continuity and accessibility.
Do you offer discounts?
Since our prices do not rise throughout the edition’s run - as is commonplace in limited-editions publishing today - we choose to maintain the same price for all buyers.
What happens once I have completed my purchase?
Once you have successfully submitted your order through our website, you should receive an automatic confirmation email to the address you provided at checkout. We will then follow up with a direct email informing you of the edition number you have secured, and further information regarding shipping and/or framing.
What if I haven’t heard from you within 24 hours of my order?
If you have not received an automatic confirmation email for your purchase, please check your spam folder if this does not come through within 30 minutes. For further assistance or any other queries, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
How long with the edition be available for?
Until it sells out! If an edition you like has sold out, you are most welcome to contact us at email@example.com to enquire about Artist Proofs, which may be made available for sale at a later stage. You can also register your interest in future editions by a specific artist by joining our mailing list and checking relevant artist names under ‘Interests’.
Can I reserve an edition ahead of launch?
No, but all launch dates will be announced ahead of time via our mailing list and on our Instagram, so do keep an eye out! Once live on the website, editions are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
DO you ship internationally?
Yes, our nominated courier company ships worldwide. Deliveries are tracked and require a signature upon receipt.
How soon after purchase will orders be shipped?
We will do our best to ship your order to you within 10 working days. We will send you the tracking information once the shipment has been collected. International shipments must be exported within 90 days.
How much does shipping cost?
We calculate the cost of packing and shipping according to each individual edition and the destination zone. Please note that depending on availability, size, or necessary packaging, it may not always be possible to consolidate editions within one shipment.
How are editions packed for shipping?
We take great care to ensure that your edition is packaged beautifully and safely for its onward journey to you, either flat-packed or in bespoke boxes.
Where are you based, and do you offer collection?
Our studio is based in West London, W2. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this facility we are unable to offer collection in person. Local same-day couriers may be arranged by us for London addresses upon request - please contact us for a bespoke quote.
Are the editions insured during shipping?
Yes - editions are fully insured whilst in transit, from the moment they leave our studio until they are successfully delivered to you. You may want to add extra cover under private policies thereafter.
ARE all TAXES INCLUDED In the shipping price?
Please note that the shipping costs per edition displayed on the website cover transportation only, and do not include additional charges such as import tax, duties, or any relevant custom fees for international shipments. These are charged locally to you - the importer - by the customs office of the destination country, so please keep an eye out for any customs clearance notifications.
Do you declare goods upon export?
Yes, we take care of the export documentation when processing your shipment, and declare the full value of the artwork.
